John is an integral part of the Life and Health Insurance team, providing unsurpassed expertise in group life plans development.

He is a Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant. John has also participated in the Leadership Development Program from The Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, N.C.

Prior to joining Thomas Fenner Woods, John was the General Manager of Prudential Financial. He has over 25 years of industry experience.

John attended Marietta College, The Ohio State University’s Agency Management Training Course and The American College where he received his CLU and CHFC certifications.

A leader in his community, John has received numerous awards including the Prudential Community Service Award and the George & Diane McCloy Community Service Award.

Outside the office, John is busy with his involvement in various professional and community organizations. He is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and a board member and past president of the Society of Financial Service Professionals (SFSP). In addition, he is the current board president of The Association for the Developmentally Disabled.

Previously, John was the Columbus Chapter President of the General Agents and Managers Association and President of The Columbus USA Association.
